About this Mod
Have you ever thought to yourself "Minecraft caves are lacking something". Have you ever been in a conversation with others and said "Ya know, I really wish Shipwrecks could be underground!". Well, this mod is for you!
Buried Wrecks will generate shipwreck structures underground and enhance your gaming experience. Using the configs, this mod allows you to specify what Y level a separate Shipwreck structure will spawn. If you're using datapacks, you can configure this mod even further. Don't worry though! Vanilla Shipwrecks can still generate on the surface so you can have both! This mod uses vanilla Shipwreck loot tables so you can even find some useful items while spelunking!

How to Install Buried Wrecks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Buried Wrecks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Buried Wrecks server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Buried Wrecks compatible with forge and neoforge?
Buried Wrecks officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.21.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Buried Wrecks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Buried Wrecks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
