Better With Time – Tweaked
An add-on that adjusts several mechanics from Better With Time.
It changes things so they behave the same way they do in Better Than Wolves CE, bringing the gameplay closer to the original design.
Features
🌿 Hemp Adjustments
- Slower growth rate.
- Requires shears to harvest drops.
- Can be broken by piston pushes.
🔨 Soul Forge Adjustments
- Adds a Dormant Soul Forge, naturally generated in Nether Fortresses.
- The Soul Forge craft now requires a Dormant Soul Forge + Nether Star.
⚙️ Mechanical & Logic Tweaks
- Slightly increased Saw processing speed to match vanilla BTW CE.
- Optional configuration toggles:
- Restore original Buddy Block neighbor-update behavior.
- Require strong redstone power for Block Dispensers.

How to Install Better With Time: HC Tweaks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better With Time: HC Tweaks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
