About this Mod
The mod
This modification adds one "command" (/pvp) when ran it will toggle the player's ability to pvp, by default pvp is disabled.
It saves to disk at ./config/pvptoggle/pvptogglestates.json and saves space by only saving the players who have pvp enabled.
It saves the UUIDs of players so the persistence feature will not work in offline mode (unless under a online mode proxy) and I don't support offline mode other than when using proxies.
If you want to you CAN use offline mode but beware I will not provide any support for offline mode servers.
I would say this mod is fine for up to 1000 players (depends on how many have PvP enabled).
Just because this modification is in Alpha doesn't mean it isn't usable!

PVP-Toggle server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

PVP-Toggle officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with PVP-Toggle – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PVP-Toggle consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
