Calamitous Health

A lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 based on Terraria and Calamity mechanics that overhauls the regeneration system.

This is my first Minecraft mod EVER, so I'd appreciate some feedback/help if an issue pops up.

Features:

Removes hunger-based regen in favor of time-scaled natural regeneration.
Adds temporary Armor penalties (affected by Armor Toughness) on Normal+ for taking damage, discouraging you from tanking hits.

Most aspects of the mod can be changed through the config file.

How to Install Calamitous Health on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Calamitous Health". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
