Carry Me
Carry Me allows you to choose whether you can be carried or not.
About this Mod
Carry Me
Carry Me is a lightweight addon for the Carry On mod that gives players full control over whether they can be carried by others.
With this mod, each player can decide with a simple command if they allow themselves to be picked up. This adds an explicit consent system to Carry On, making interactions better suited for multiplayer servers.
Server administrators can also enforce this behavior globally using a gamerule, disabling player choice if desired.
Features
- Player-controlled permission to be carried
- Server-side gamerule to enforce or disable player choice
- Simple toggle command or keybind to allow or deny being carried
- Designed for multiplayer environments
- Lightweight and non-intrusive
- No changes to Carry On’s core mechanics
Why use Carry Me?
In multiplayer servers, being carried without consent can be annoying or disruptive. Carry Me solves this by ensuring that players are only carried if they explicitly allow it, while still giving server owners full control through a gamerule.
How it works
Players can use a command or press a key to enable or disable their carry permission at any time.
Server owners may optionally use a gamerule to control this behavior globally.

Server lagging with Carry Me – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Carry Me consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
