About this Mod

How to Use the Mod:

  1. Join any Minecraft server (with custom biomes registered via datapacks).

  2. Run the command: /save biomes

    • This command can be executed at any time after joining.
  3. Check the output in chat.

    • The mod will confirm the name of the file it

Output File:

  • The biome data will be saved as a text file named:
    <Server-IP>-BIOMES.txt
  • This file is located in your .minecraft/config/

What It Does:

  • The mod scans and saves all server-side custom biome information + IDs.

  • Useful for mod or datapack developers who want to:

    • Analyze custom biome data.
    • Track which biomes a server is using.

How to Install Custom Biome Downloader on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Custom Biome Downloader". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
