About this Mod

This mod does one thing only: Allows you to craft black dye from charcoal.

Charcoal was the main method of dying cloth black for the majority of human history, it makes sense that you would have this option in MInecraft too.

This was created for one of my personal modpacks. I dislike the spawning parameters for squid and have them disabled, and didn't want to rely on wither rose as my only source of black dye.

How to Install Charcoal to Dye on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Charcoal to Dye". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
