About this Mod

Chat Isolation
This client-side mod minimizes distractions to help you focus during high-stakes cPvP drain and tierlist fights. It blocks all chat and server messages except your opponent's, your own, and necessary updates (rekit, regear, or heal).

Features
Opponent Whitelisting: Lock your focus on your opponent while blocking out surrounding chatter from spectators or unrelated players.
Smart System & Broadcast Filtering: Blocks server/system messages unless they explicitly reference you or one of your whitelisted opponents. This keeps you informed of critical events (such as opponent rekitting, regearing, or healing) without unnecessary server logs/clutter.
Persistent Configuration: Automatically saves and loads your preferences and whitelisted players

Frequently Asked Questions

chat isolation server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is chat isolation compatible with fabric?

chat isolation officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with chat isolation – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if chat isolation consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
