Chat Message Formatter
Prepend and append text to your chat messages based on your current connection.
About this Mod
This mod allows you to use the config file, or a menu to append or prepend certain text to your chat messages automatically. There is a keybing that can be set (disabled by default) that will allow you to open the menu and add format rules. Rules can be set to avoid messages starting with specific things, and only be applied to specific servers. This mod was originally made for minimessage compatibility, but could be used for any plugin for chat formatting. If the server has minimessage this mod could be good to make your messages stand out from a flood of other, generic messages.
Format rule properties:
- Rule Name - Useless, besides identifying what rule you are going to edit.
- Added String - The string that is either appended or prepended to your message (changed by a toggle button.
- Whitelisted Servers - A list of servers that the current rule is applied to. (make sure to click 'add' to add that rule!)
- Skipped Prefixes - A list of characters that the formatter will check your message to see if it starts with it, and if it does, your message will not be formatted. (make sure to click 'add' to add that rule!)
