About this Mod

Ever thought throwing eggs to hatch chickens was stupid? Well hey, that's why this mod exists!

How does it work? Plonk down a chicken egg (upto 4) on top of a hay block! In about 9 minutes, a baby chicken will hatch!

Config options:

Time taken to update hatching progress in seconds (default: 180)
Disable chickens spawning from thrown eggs (default: true)

How to Install Chickens Hatch Now on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Chickens Hatch Now". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
