About this Mod
Chiseled
Chiseled adds chisels to the game, they allow you to turn any full block into any shape you want by removing one of the 8 corners of a block (similar to stairs). This effectively adds stairs and slab to every full block in the game, including modded ones and block entities! But that's not all, you can make any of 254 different shapes and they may also be waterlogged!
Some blocks may even drop items when chiseled, this is fully configurable using datapacks!
Getting Started
To get started, craft yourself a chisel out of your desired material: wood, stone, iron, gold or diamond using a stick and 2 of your chosen resource and placing them diagonally like so :

You may upgrade a diamond chisel to a netherite chisel the same way you upgrade any diamond tool to netherite.
Finally, while holding your brand new chisel, aim at the corner of the block you wish to remove and simply break it!
Here is what a Block of Raw Gold will look like once a corner has been taken out!

Chiseled server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Chiseled compatible with fabric?
Chiseled officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Chiseled – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Chiseled consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
