About this Mod
CivUtils
A lightweight client-side mod for Civ multiplayer servers. Adds practical HUD overlays and quality-of-life features without cluttering your screen.

Utilities
- AutoSit — Automatically sends
/sitafter a configurable period of inactivity to prevent hunger drain.
Overlays
- Block Count — Displays the total count of your held block type across your entire inventory. Essential for large builds.
- Class XP — Real-time XP progress bars for your class and specializations. Shows XP rate per hour, estimated time to next level, and session XP gained.
- Combat Timer — Shows the combat log countdown so you know exactly when it's safe to log out.
- Bed Healing — Displays healing progress while resting in a bed, with percentage and time remaining.
- Repair Calculator — Shows repair costs when holding damaged tools: number of repairs needed, hunger cost, XP levels, and Blacksmith XP gained.
Configuration
Press Right Shift to open the config menu. Every feature can be toggled individually and customized—overlay positions, colors, bar sizes, and more.

How to Install Civutils on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Civutils". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Civutils server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Civutils compatible with fabric?
Civutils officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Civutils – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Civutils consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
