About this Mod

Reverses release 1.7.2's cave changes, bringing them back to their former
glory.

Increases cave frequency
Increases mineshaft chance
Reduces max dungeon placement height (dungeons become more common)
Reverts ravine curvature

All this makes the underground nearly identical to 1.6.4.

How to Install Classic Caves on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.8.9).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Classic Caves". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
