Client Build Tools (CBT)

Client-side building assistance tools for minecraft fabric

Disclaimer

CBT is considered cheating on many servers due to the nature of the mod. You may experience punishment for using this
mod on servers!

Functionality

CBT features multiple modes which can be switched by holding the G key (configurable) and scrolling the mouse.

Currently, there are 3 core modes featured in CBT:

Line: Builds a horizontal line of blocks
Wall: Builds a vertical line of blocks
Patcher: Patches holes around the player

Each mode can also have a settings (e.g. Length, Height, Range) which can be changed by holding shift and the Cycle Build Mode key and scrolling the mouse.

FAQ

Some blocks are placed wrong?

The mod is not perfect and sometimes blocks will be misplaced. I've taken measures to prevent this but since CBT is client-side only this behaviour is not 100% fixable.

How to Install Client Build Tools on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Client Build Tools". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Client Build Tools server crashes on startup – what to do?
