About this Mod

ever felt like your inventory isnt filling up quickly enough when mining or digging? well do i have the solution for you!

introducing cobble, this mod mostly modifies loot tables so that mining ores will drop both the clumps and some cobble as well. there are also clumps/cobbles for {dirt, sand, and netherrack}, however the loot tables for these varients are optional and requires you use the optional datapack.

im not sure what came over me to make this mod because i would never use it but yanno!

couple notes:

  • you cannot craft coarse dirt with this, as i am lazy
  • this does not support mod ores ( y e t )

Frequently Asked Questions

cobble server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is cobble compatible with fabric and quilt?

cobble officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with cobble – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if cobble consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
