🃏 CobbleTCG — Card Collecting for Cobblemon

I created this mod because Pokémon has been a meaningful part of my life ever since I first played it on my Game Boy in 1999. After many years away from the franchise, discovering the amazing Cobblemon project — and especially the work of the Cobbleverse team — reignited my passion for this world.

The last time I played Pokémon was back in 2004, with Pokémon Ruby on my Game Boy Advance SP. Coming back and seeing that there are now over 1000 Pokémon, along with the passion and dedication that modders are putting into this universe, inspired me to contribute my own small part.

This mod was born not only as a personal challenge, but also as a gift for my girlfriend, who loves Pokémon and card collecting. I decided to make it public to share this idea: a combination of Cobbleverse and the joy of trading card collecting.

Warning missing textures

As of version 1.4.0, this mod includes a total of 4 resource packs containing the textures for both cards and booster packs.

If the textures do not download automatically, you must search for CobbleTCG-ResourcePack# on the platform and install it manually.

If you have the resource packs installed, they should ideally enable themselves by default; however, in certain cases, they may require manual activation.

Configuration and Commands

The mod features a small configuration file located at config/cobbletcg.properties.
Within this file, you can adjust:

• Booster pack prices
• Restock times
• The Welcome Pack
  (Enable or disable the starter pack given to players after 1 hour of playtime on the server.)

You can edit this file while the game is running and apply changes instantly using the command: /cobbletcg reload

Downgrading Warning:

If for any reason you need to revert to a version lower than 1.2.0, it is extremely important that you remove all cards from your albums first!

Steps to downgrade safely:

1-Remove all cards from your albums.

2-Store the cards in standard chests.

3-Install the older version.

4-Open your world and you can then safely place the cards back into the albums.

The mod works even in standalone mode; it does not require Cobblemon, only Fabric API — but I recommend playing it with Cobblemon/Cobbleverse.
