About this Mod

The Confettinator mod

fabric api badge

The Confettinator mod adds one block—the Confettinator!

It works similarly to a dispenser, you can access its 9-slot inventory by right-clicking. It can be oriented in any of 4 directions, though it always shoots upwards. Unlike a dispenser, instead of choosing a random item, it uses the first item it finds in the inventory.

When activated with redstone, it can shoot out:

  • Confetti (by giving a paper item)
  • Colored confetti (by giving any dye item)
  • Rainbow confetti (by giving a glowstone dust item)
  • Fireworks (like a regular dispenser)
  • Firework stars (like a firework but it immediately explodes)

The Confettinator also has one special side for redstone calibration. It may be familiar to you if you've ever used a calibrated sculk sensor.
When a redstone dust has power on the calibration side, it changes the color of any confetti (only as a paper item), firework, and firework star to the color corresponding to the redstone signal strength. (note: only one explosion is kept in each firework modified this way, and any fade color of any firework or firework star is removed)

This mod uses Confetti Lib by Tomate0613.

Confettinator officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Confettinator – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Confettinator consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
