About this Mod

This project adds contracts to the game with various functionalities. A multiplayer focused mod to add some flavor to your servers, great for roleplaying too!
You can sign a contract with another player by holding a blank contract that the other player crafted and a stamp, which can be obtained with wax from a shaven candle of the contract you want's respective color.
Examples include:
Life-Link Contract

It connects you and another player's souls, doubling your hearts in exchange for both of your deaths if one of you die. When someone is killed whilst under the effects of the Life-Link Contract, they will respawn with less hearts for an extended amount of time.
Teleport Contract

Signing this contract allows you to teleport to the other signer, any entities caught in the range of the teleport will accompany you. This can be used two times before the connection breaks.
Land Contract

Signing this contract allows you to make a boundary by selecting two points by right clicking on the blocks with the contract in hand. Within this boundary, the other signer cannot break or place blocks within the boundary. You can break this boundary by sneak + left clicking on one of the key points.
And more, play the mod to find out...

Contractual server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Contractual compatible with fabric?
Contractual officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Contractual – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Contractual consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
