Description

Create: Maintenance adds a new maintenance mechanic to the Create mod and its addon, The Factory Must Grow.

Various machines, from basins to steam and gasoline engines, to distillation towers, will now degrade as they are used, and will require you to maintain them. For the full list, scroll down!

This presents the player with a new challenge to tackle, by forcing them to handle the logistics of maintenance and producing capital. With this addon, further incentive is given to mass produce things like andesite alloy, brass, and steel.

This mod also has a high degree of configuratibility, making it suitable for implementation in any modpack!

This mod is compatible with Create 5 and 6, and TFMG 1.x.

NOTE: If you are adding this to a world that already has engines, waterwheels, etc, you must use the /regeneratewearing command to give the blocks the decaying mechanic. (do not use it on a block that already decays)

Details

List of degrading blocks (each can be toggled and modified through configs):

• Basin (repaired using Hammer with Andesite Alloy, or Welder with Heavy Plates)
• Large and Small Water Wheel (repaired using Hammer with Andesite Alloy)
• Steam Engine (repaired using Hammer with Brass Sheets, or Welder with Brass Sheets)
• Distillation Output (repaired using Spanner with Screws, or Welder with Heavy Plates)
• All small engines, such as regular, turbine, and radial (repaired using Spanner with Screws, or Welder with Heavy Plates)
• Large and Simple Large Engine (repaired using Welder with Heavy Plates)
• Windmill Bearing (repaired using Hammer with Andesite Alloy)
• Upgraded Basin (created using Welder with Aluminum Block on a repaired basin, repaired using Welder with Aluminum Sheets) (materials are fully configurable!!!)

Note that these blocks will no longer be able to be pushed by contraptions (this cannot be configured).

Tools:

• Hammer (used on low-tech machines)
• Spanner (a semi-effective tool for industrial, steel machines)
• Welder (a multi-purpose and efficient tool for metal objects)
• Repair Drone and Drone Platform (allows you to automate repairs)

Other Features:

• Smoke Alarm (detects if blocks that can explode are about to explode)
• Warning Siren (very loud customizable siren)

Valkyrien skies addons may cause this mod to break!!!!
