A Create addon that adds realistic fluid physics to pipes and pumps. Fluid flows downhill by gravity, friction limits horizontal range, and pumps interact with elevation.
Features
New Pipe Physics
Create Pipes n Physics adds in a new physics system for pipes and pumps, providing more realistic fluid flow behavior.
Therefore, a new pressure/friction system is introduced to simulate the behavior of fluids in pipes. This new behavior naturally enables new physics.
- Fluid flows downhill through pipes without a pump.
- The height difference between source and destination determines pressure and flow rate.
- Siphons work naturally: fluid can travel over a hump as long as the destination is lower than the source.
Pipe Friction
Horizontal pipes create friction that reduces range and flow. Vertical pipes are completely free. The friction model uses diminishing returns, so longer pipe runs don't get punished too harshly.
Pump Physics
Pumps get a gravity assist when pushing downhill and a penalty when pushing uphill. Siphon paths cancel out, only horizontal segments cost friction. Pump range and flow scale with RPM.
Goggle Tooltips
Wearing goggles and looking at a pipe shows a full pressure breakdown: head pressure, friction, gravity assist, net flow rate, and remaining reach in blocks.
Sable Support
Optional integration with Sable for rotating structures:
- Fluid tanks gain dynamic weight based on fill level and fluid density
- Tilted fluid rendering with wave simulation
- All pipe physics recalculate automatically on rotating sub-levels
Fully Configurable
Every physics value is configurable: gravity pressure, friction, pump gravity factor, angle thresholds, tank mass, and more. Every feature can be toggled independently.

How to Install Create: Pipes'n physics on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Create: Pipes'n physics". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Create: Pipes'n physics server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Create: Pipes'n physics compatible with neoforge?
Create: Pipes'n physics officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Create: Pipes'n physics – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Create: Pipes'n physics consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
