Crop Sentinel
Notifies you when crops in a configurable radius are fully grown. Supports wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, cocoa, and sweet berries.
About this Mod
Crop Sentinel
Never miss a harvest again. Crop Sentinel silently scans crops in a configurable radius around you and sends an action bar notification the moment they're fully grown — including crops from mods.
Features
Vanilla Crop Detection
Scans a cylinder of configurable radius (default 32 blocks, up to 64) every 4 seconds. Detects all vanilla crops:
- Wheat, Carrots, Potatoes, Beetroot
- Nether Wart
- Cocoa Pods
- Sweet Berries
Modded Crop Detection (new in 1.1)
Automatically detects non-vanilla crops from any mod — no configuration needed. Any block that uses a standard age property (the same convention used by most modded crops) is tracked and notified when fully grown.
Works with mods like Farmer's Delight, Pam's HarvestCraft, and many more out of the box. Can be disabled in the config screen if needed.
Smart Notifications
Only notifies you once per crop — won't spam you if you stay near a farm. Clears the notification once a crop is harvested so you'll be notified again next time it's ready.
Periodic Reminders
Optional reminder (default every 60 seconds) to let you know crops are still waiting. Set to 0 to disable.
Notification Style
- Action bar (default) — unobtrusive overlay above the hotbar
- Chat — optional additional chat message
