Planting Guide

How to Obtain Seeds

The crafting recipe for seeds of each resource is similar: 1 unit of the target resource + 8 corresponding embryo shards.

  • Vanilla Plantable Resources:
Overworld Minerals Nether Minerals Biomass Resources Ocean Resources Sweet Resources
Overworld mineral seeds recipe Nether mineral seeds recipe Biomass resourse seeds recipe Marine resourse seeds recipe Sweet resourse seeds recipe
Growable overworld minerals Growable nether minerals Growable biomass resourses Growable marine resourses Growable sweet resourses
  • After installing compatible add-on mods, you can also plant specific resources from those mods.

Obtaining Embryo Shards

  • Hold the corresponding material and right-click a Classic Stonecutter to extract the shards. A single embryo shard of the matching type will drop upon success.
  • Tutorial: Embryo Shard Extraction Guide

Planting and Harvesting

  • Mod crops require a specific type of "farmland" to grow— vanilla dirt farmland won’t work! Crops must be planted on dedicated farmland.

  • Embryo shards can be used to accelerate the growth of corresponding crops.

  • Once crops are fully grown, you can harvest them by either breaking the plants directly or right-clicking on them.

Reactor Core

Configuration Files

  • The configuration file will only be generated or read if the Jauml mod is installed, and it takes effect on the server side. The configuration file is located at config/croparium.
  • The settings in the configuration file will also apply in add-on mods.
  • The file is only loaded when entering a world or using the command /croparium_config_reload.

Cross-Mod Expansion

Starting from version 3.0.0, the Croparium mod adopts a modular design. The base mod does not include any cross-mod crops—it needs to be used with corresponding expansion mods (this mod serves as a dependency).

Players can install the corresponding expansion mods as needed, with the main Croparium mod serving as the required dependency.

Some expansion mods:

Croparium: Confluence Overworld

Croparium: Cataclysm

Croparium: Twilight Forest

Croparium: ARPHEX

Croparium: The Aether

Croparium: Create

Croparium: Mekanism

Croparium: Composite Materials

Biomes O' Plenty Legacy Reborn & Croparium

More cross-mod content is still in development. If you have creative suggestions to share or encounter issues while using the mod, feel free to open an issue on GitHub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Croparium server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Croparium compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?

Croparium officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Croparium – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Croparium consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
