Mod Description
Ever thought that you should hear a sound for when you crouch in-game, and wanted one? Then you came to the right place!
Crouching Sound is a client-sided Minecraft mod for the Fabric Loader, that plays a dynamic sound when for you crouch in-game, based on the player's conditions (On Ground, in Air, in Lava, in Water, or Submerged in Water). Below, is a table that contains the player's conditions, and what sound will be played, based on that condition upon crouching:

The Crouching Sound mod doesn't just play the crouching sound at the client (users of this mod), but it also plays it at every other player within render distance, that crouches, which can be an UNFAIR-ADVANTAGE (you could hear someone sneaking near you, for example) for the server that you play on. Please ask the Owner (or an Admin) of the server for permission.

How to Install Crouching Sound on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Crouching Sound". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Crouching Sound server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Crouching Sound compatible with fabric?
Crouching Sound officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.19.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Crouching Sound – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Crouching Sound consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
