About this Mod

Crystal Damage Estimator

This is a client-side utility mod that predicts the damage from an end crystal explosion before it occurs. It is designed for Crystal PvP players who want reliable information without guesswork.

Features

Real-time explosion damage calculation based on:

  • Player position
  • Explosion origin
  • Armor toughness, armor value, and enchantments
  • Resistance effects

It displays predicted damage in one of several formats:

  • Numeric overlay above entities
  • HUD text near the crosshair
  • Optional outline coloring (configurable)

It works in both singleplayer and multiplayer, as it is purely client-side and does not need server support.

Configuration

  • Hotkey to toggle the display
  • Choice between self-only, enemy-only, or both
  • Adjustable precision (rounded or exact values)
  • Selectable display style (text, outline, or both)

Purpose

This mod does not automate combat. It only provides predictions of explosion outcomes to help with decision making in fast-paced PvP situations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Crystal Damage server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Crystal Damage compatible with fabric?

Crystal Damage officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Crystal Damage – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Crystal Damage consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
