About this Mod
This allows customizing the loading screen of minecraft forge 1.12.2 using json files.
This has a fairly complex syntax - most json values can be set to an expression rather than a fixed value to allow highly dynamic loading screens. Please refer to the wiki for a basic overview, and look at the samples for examples on working loading screens.
The 1.7.10 version is far more basic - it doesn't support expresions, or most of the syntax mentioned on the wiki. This project also used to be called Better Loading Screen on curseforge, but was renamed to better reflect the mod.
This mod doesn't include an easier way to configure the loading screens - please join my discord server if you are having trouble.

Custom Loading Screen officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.12.2, 1.7.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Custom Loading Screen – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Custom Loading Screen consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
