DaFlight Fabric
Precise, customizable flight with no sliding, made for creative builders.
About this Mod
This is a modern Fabric port of DaFlight for LiteLoader, which itself is based roughly on Zombe's Flymod.
Highly Recommend:
Keybind Fix (or similar, like Amecs) to allow duplicate conflicting hotkeys
Requires Cloth Config, Fabric Language Kotlin, and Fabric API.
Why not just use creative flight?
- No sliding, deceleration, acceleration, or momentum. This allows you to be much more precise with your position.
- Fly speed is customizable, and doesn't require any server-side functionality besides needing creative flight
- "Fly boost" works like sprinting, but in any direction including vertically, and has a configurable speed modifier. (No more waiting 5 minutes to reach the top of your megabuild)
- There is also an additional option for 3d flight (fly toward the direction you're looking)
How to use:
- Configure your desired keybinds and presets
- Enable creative flight
- Enable DaFlight's flight mode
- Fly using your custom set keys

Server lagging with DaFlight Fabric – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if DaFlight Fabric consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
