About this Mod
⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️
This mod requires Fabric API.
Mod Description
Damage Tracker is a client-sided Minecraft mod for the Fabric Loader, that allows players to view their health changes in the action bar (text element above the hot bar). For example, if you take damage because of falling, an action bar title will appear, containing the amount of damage you just took, and the source of the damage (in this case: "fall"). If you regain health, an action bar message will appear, showing you how much health you just gained. If you block with a shield that is either in your main-hand, or in your off-hand, an action bar message will appear, showing estimated damage blocked from attacks (NOTE: If your shield has the !damage component, the action bar message will not appear; and if your shield is enchanted with unbreaking, the estimated amount of damage blocked will be more rough). The whole mod is toggleable with this command that the mod adds: /toggledmgdisplay.

Damage Tracker server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Damage Tracker compatible with fabric?
Damage Tracker officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Damage Tracker – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Damage Tracker consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
