About this Mod
Important Info
This datapack should not be loaded on an existing world.
If there is anything that you are trying to get that is unobtaiable report it on the discord and i will find a way to make it obtainable
What is changed from vanilla
- Replaces the overworld, nether, and end
- Gear upgrades are linear requiring the previous tier in order to obtain
- There is no day-night or weather cycle
- Removed vanilla advancements
- Monsters can't see you from further than 5 blocks if you are not in light
- Animals are hostile
- Animals and Monsters get stronger when you get stronger gear
- All structures except for Strongholds and Trial Chambers dont spawn
- Villager obtainable enchantments only include 5 enchantments
- The enchanting table needs netherite and endstone to craft
- Bookshelves do not upgrade the Enchanting Table
What is Added
- Temperature System requiring you to be in the light to warm up
- Bronze gear being inbetween Copper/Chainmail and Iron
- Rose Gold gear being inbetween Iron and Diamond
- Steel gear being inbewtween Diamond and Netherite
- A mimic mob that uses the skin of a random player that is currently on the server

How to Install The Dark Forest on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Dark Forest". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
