About this Mod

First (public) fabric mod!

Survival hinges on light in this small (and unforgiving) mod that requires you to always be in some kind of light (more than block light ≤2 (and skylight=0 by day)).

With checks at your head position to punish crawling or partial hiding.
Death messages vanish from chat
Totems / Armor / Protection / Any kind of invincibility will fail to save you.

How to Install Darkness Consumes All on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Darkness Consumes All". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
