About this Mod

DayLite is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft Java 1.21.5+ that allows for simple brightness transitions to be configured between different environments.

Want the rich shadows of moody brightness without being blind at night? Want to be able to see ores in caves without blinding youself on the surface? You can have both!

Dynamic Brightness Controls aims to replace the vanilla brightness settings, allowing you to set gamma values for different environments, which will be automatically transitioned into! Adjust the config screen through Mod Menu to your liking and enjoy!

How to Install Daylite on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Daylite". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Daylite server crashes on startup – what to do?
