Deaths Accounted For (DAF)
A lightweight mod focused on tracking kills, deaths, and enforcing a configurable death limit for competitive or hardcore servers.
About this Mod
Tired of your friends claiming they’re the “best PvPer on the server” with nothing to back it up? Or maybe you just want to know who really gets wrecked in fair fights (spoiler: still probably you).
Deaths Accounted For keeps track of every glorious victory and every not-so-glorious defeat — but only when another player is involved. Creepers don’t count here. No more excuses, no more “lag got me” — the stats don’t lie.
Whether you’re running a hardcore challenge, a PvP tournament, or just want to roast your friends with cold, hard numbers, this mod’s got you covered.
✨ Features
- Kills & Deaths Tracking – Records only player-caused kills and deaths, complete with player names and timestamps.
- Player Stats Command – Run /stats to check your own stats. Admins can peek at everyone else’s, but normal players only see their own.
- Leaderboard Command – Shows the top players ranked by kills only. Simple, clean, and ruthless.
- Configurable Death Limit – Want hardcore mode with a twist? Set a death cap — when players reach it, they’re automatically banned. (Don’t worry, you can tweak or disable it in the config.)
- Reloadable Config and Stats – Change settings without restarting the server. Because who has time for restarts?
- Death and Ban Logs - Keep track of every kill and bans with timestamps available in the Log file.
🎮 Server Use Cases
- PvP Arenas – Track who’s truly the champion.
- Hardcore SMPs – Add accountability and spice with a configurable death cap.
- Events & Tournaments – Make competitions fair with a visible leaderboard.
- Friendly Chaos – Or just keep it around to remind your friends who the real “PvP god” is.
