About this Mod

Features

Better Doors

Ever noticed how broken Minecraft's doors look on the sides? DecoMod's doors have custom-made textures for all sides of the block!

Wallpapers

Use the Wallpapering Table to craft wallpapers - you can then put them over your walls to decorate without taking up a block space!

Quoins

Using the wallpapering system, these fancy bricks let the corners of your building stand out.

Trims

Place wooden trims along your interior walls to spruce (or acacia, dark oak, warped...) them up :)

Chain-Link fences

Iron bars don't always do the trick - these fences can look much better. They also come with a door variant.

Frequently Asked Questions

DecoMod server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is DecoMod compatible with fabric?

DecoMod officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with DecoMod – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if DecoMod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
