About this Mod

This mod allows players to set default keys for their key bindings. It can be used in Modpacks to provide a more reasonable default key setup. Compatible with the enhanced combination keys supported by Key Binding Patch.

You may need to manually set force_key_reset option in config to true if you are using it along with other default settings mod such as Default Options to ensure key bindings will be reset to their new defaults on next game launch.

How to Install Default Key Setup on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Default Key Setup". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Default Key Setup server crashes on startup – what to do?
