About this Mod
Delightful Drops: The Alpha Drop
Delightful Drops aims to be a Vanilla+ mod that adds various features to Minecraft every update. These features could range from adding mobs, ores, biomes, or different block types.

This mod is an MCreator mod! something I still have very little experience with, pixel art the same. This however doesn't mean I won't try my best to offer a good experience with new updates and drops.
FAQ:
What is "The Alpha Drop"? 🌳
The Alpha Drop doesn't add much in the slightest, it's just a port of the (Outdated) CurseForge version of the mod, minus a WIP feature I feel doesn't fit in anymore.
The Alpha Drop adds "Wood" blocks for Bamboo, named Bamboo Thicket. And also adds a mosaic block for every wood type in the game

What's next? ➡️
That's a secret 😉 however I will give a hint. It'll add a new biome variant to the caves, featuring something you can only find in that biome.
How often will features/updates be added? 🆕
As often as my motivation will allow me. I have a few ideas already, so I'm not out of things to work on after this next drop is worked on!
Will you have "Snapshot" versions? 🟩α
Yep! that's what the beta versions of the mod are for. The mod uses a M.M.P format: Major, Minor, and Patch. Major updates are complete releases, while Minor updates are "snapshots" for the next release that aren't final, and they may add minor features to the previous release. You can tell the difference because snapshots are labeled as an "Beta" version and minor features are included in a "Release" version. Patches are for fixing bugs or making small changes without adding new features.
What if Mojang adds one of your features in a future Update/Drop? 🟥🍵
I don't know how likely this is to happen, but if it does happen at any point, my feature will be removed from the mod after updating to the version that adds the feature.
Will you port to 1.2x? 🆙
Short answer, Maybe, Maybe not.
Long answer, I won't be doing any backporting whatsoever, so 1.21.8 is the earliest version you'll see this mod for, and as of right now it's MCreator's most recent supported version, so as of right now I'm unable to update to a more recent version too. I'm also unexperienced with updating mod versions on MCreator, I know it's possible however. So when they release a newer version, I'll try updating the mod to a newer version if possible.
Will you port to Forge/Fabric/Quilt? 📜
Short answer, I really doubt it.
Long answer, like I've just said, I'm unexperienced with changing game versions in MCreator and even more unexperienced with changing mod loaders too, I don't even know if it's possible. If it is then I'll try to? But like I said, I really doubt I'll add more mod loaders, very sorry.
If I had to say yes to one, It'd be Fabric, Fabric is most likely.

Delightful Drops server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Delightful Drops compatible with neoforge?
Delightful Drops officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Delightful Drops – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Delightful Drops consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
