About this Mod
Depressed Coal for 1.15.1 and higher requires CoalAPI! Download it here
(note that this is a joke mod) This mod adds Depressed Coal and Depressed Coal Ore. To craft depressed coal, place a single coal ore in the crafting table to get 8 depressed coal (also works the opposite way). Mining or smelting the depressed coal ore gives you 3 depressed coal. Each depressed coal smelts 1 item. That's literally the entire mod.

How to Install Depressed Coal on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.15.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Depressed Coal". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Depressed Coal server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.15.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Depressed Coal compatible with forge?
Depressed Coal officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.15.2, 1.15.1, 1.14.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Depressed Coal – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Depressed Coal consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
