About this Mod
This mod is a small QoL mod in the spirit of Construction Wand, that adds two types of wands, allowing the player to easily place blocks at corners and diagonals without the use of troublesome scaffolding.
The Diagonalization Wand comes with three settings:
• Vertical Edges - places blocks along any of the 4 vertical edges of the targeted block
• Horizontal Edges - places blocks along any of the 8 (upper and lower) horizontal edges of the targeted block
• Vertices - places blocks on any of the 8 corners of the targeted block
These settings can be cycled by looking at empty space and shift-rightclicking.
The wand will automatically look for blocks in your inventory to place. By default, the wand will try to place down the same block type as the targeted block.
If you wish to place a different block, hold it in your offhand.
The diagonalization wand can be upgraded to an Infinity Diagonalization Wand by combining it with a nether star in a smithing table. The infinity wand is unbreakable, and can place up to 20 blocks at once. The range can be adjusted by holding shift + scrolling.

Diagonalization server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Diagonalization officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.18.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Diagonalization – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Diagonalization consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
