Disable Subtitles is a mod that allows the server to manage player subtitles via the gamerule showSubtitles.

When this rule is enabled, subtitles are enabled. When disabled, the mod hides them on the client and prevents them from being displayed.

Command:
/gamerule showSubtitles true/false

How to Install Disable Subtitles on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Disable Subtitles". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
