About this Mod

Discs Rewinded is a simple mod that backports the new music discs from Minecraft 1.21 to version 1.20.1. Since many popular mods—like Create—are still on older versions, this mod lets you enjoy the latest music without giving up your favorite modded setup.

This mod was thrown together in about an hour on the day the disc for Lava Chicken dropped (1.21.7 Snapshot 1), originally made for a private server with friends. It’s a quick project, so don’t expect updates, bug fixes, or ports to other versions/loaders.

Below are screenshots of the crafting recipes for each disc. The gray disc used in these recipes is the Blank Music Disc, which can be found as loot in shipwrecks, buried treasures, dungeon chests, and armorer village houses.

To craft Lava Chicken, you’ll need to smelt the Blank Disc in a regular furnace—fuel type doesn’t matter! Tears Creator

How to Install Discs Rewinded on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Discs Rewinded". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
