About this Mod

Don't Wait Up - Minecraft Mod for Seamless Sleep Time Skipping
Don't Wait Up is a simple yet powerful server-side mod designed for Minecraft 1.21.1. It changes the way sleeping works on multiplayer servers by allowing just one player to sleep and instantly skip the night for all players. Unlike the default mechanic where every player must sleep to trigger the time change, Don't Wait Up makes sure that as soon as one player goes to bed, the night ends, and a new day begins.

Perfect for those who enjoy playing on a server but don't want to wait for everyone else to sleep, this mod streamlines the gameplay experience by ensuring you won’t have to wait for others when it's time to rest.

📥 Installation Guide Don't Wait Up is a server-side mod for Minecraft, built to work best with Fabric Loader. To install:

Download and install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.1.
Drop the Don't Wait Up .jar file into your server’s mods folder.
Restart your Minecraft server, and you’re good to go!
This mod requires no additional setup and works right out of the box. Players can join your server without needing the mod installed on their client-side, making it easy for everyone to play together.

⚙️ How It Works When a player on the server lies down to sleep, the mod checks if it’s currently nighttime. If so, the mod automatically changes the time to the start of the next day (1000 ticks), skipping the night for all players on the server. It works even if only one player is sleeping, making nighttime progression hassle-free.

To keep everyone informed, a message is broadcasted to all players, letting them know that the night has been skipped:
“One player sleeps, all players wake!”

❓ FAQ

Can I still sleep during the day?
No, this mod only skips the night. It triggers when the in-game time is between 13000 and 23000 ticks (Minecraft's night cycle).

Is this mod client-side or server-side?
This is a server-side mod only, meaning players do not need to install it on their clients to join a server that uses it. It’s plug-and-play!

🐛 Troubleshooting & Reporting Issues If you encounter any issues, check the server logs for errors, or report bugs via the issue tracker on our official mod page. Be sure to provide details about your server environment, including any other mods you have installed.

With Don't Wait Up, the night-time sleep mechanic in Minecraft becomes streamlined and player-friendly, allowing your server’s gameplay to flow smoothly without interruptions.
