Donut Hoppers
A toggleable hopper mod for DonutSMP testing.
About this Mod
Notes
Lightweight server-side mod that upgrades vanilla hopper mechanics to high-performance transfer speeds inspired by DonutSMP, without breaking vanilla behavior or compatibility.
This mod is intentionally for singleplayer only. It is not a DonutSMP cheat, macro, script, bypass, or public-server automation tool.

Features
- Transfers 12 items per cycle instead of 1
- Operates every 5 ticks (1/4 second)
- All speeds and transfer amounts are customizable
- Works with all standard inventories and storage blocks
- Maintains deterministic behavior (no randomness or desync issues)
- Works seamlessly with composters
- Designed to function alongside Carpet TIS optimizations
- Enable or disable the system in-game

Commands
/hopper

Why
Why use this mod instead of vanilla hoppers? Vanilla hoppers are slow and quickly become a bottleneck in farms and storage systems. Donut Hoppers removes that limitation by dramatically increasing transfer speed while keeping behavior consistent and predictable.
Will this break my builds or redstone systems? Sometimes, machines that depend on sorters or other types of logic may be affected.
Who is this mod for? Anyone testing or building farms in DonutSMP or if you want faster hopper speeds in singleplayer.

Support

This project is not affiliated with DonutSMP, Mojang, or Microsoft. It is a fan-made singleplayer utility inspired by observed hopper behavior.

Donut Hoppers officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Donut Hoppers – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Donut Hoppers consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
