Drop Scavenger
A mod configure mobs that clear their victims' drops.
About this Mod
Factors
This mod adds a config file that lets you manage loot-dropping behavior for mob kills.
- You can put mod ids in a whitelist to let them act as a "Scaveger",which clean any drops from their victims.
- Or you can put mod ids into the blacklist to protect them from cleanup.
Why This Mod Exists
Many modpacks face a design flaw: Players can exploit neutral/hostile mobs’ AI to farm loot risk-free. This breaks progression and undermines pack balance.
This mod solves that by letting pack authors control which mobs should or shouldn’t drop loot when killed by others.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
This mod might cause permanent loot loss!
e.g.,to get some vanilla discs needs a creeper killed by skeleton. If skeleton in the whitelist will cause these discs cannot be gained anymore.
