About this Mod

This mod adds a new consumable item - Echo of Death. Using the item takes 1.5 seconds (configurable) and teleports you to the position you last died at, as pointed to by the vanilla Recovery Compass. It works across dimensions, too.

The recipe for Echo of Death takes four ender pearls and a recovery compass, though the recovery compass is not consumed in the recipe.

I made this mod for people like myself who have chronic skill issue, and are playing on a server where the others want to just a gravestone mod instead of full keepInventory.

How to Install Echo of Death on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Echo of Death". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
