About this Mod
A mod to infinitely fly with an elytra without fireworks. It only controls your player's pitch to take advantage of Minecraft's physics, so it is essentially a smart macro, not a hack!
How to use
There is a keybind to toggle the mod (H by default). To start flying you can either get 50 blocks of height and jump off (and open your elytra), or use a firework rocket (the mod will automatically pitch up to gain height).
When you start flying, the mod will:
- Pitch down to 30°.
- Wait until you are 10 ticks (0.5 seconds) away from hitting a block or have horizontal velocity higher than 2 blocks/tick (40 blocks/second).
- Pitch up to -48° and slowly move your camera down by 0.5°/tick (10°/second) until it gets down to 30° OR you lose all of your vertical speed (in which case you pitch down immediately).
- Go back to 2.
These angles were obtained using elytra-gliding-calculator (made by me).
This method will gain you ~3 blocks of height per iteration, so you can fly for as long as your elytra lasts!
Configuration
The mod has a configuration menu (accessible from mod menu by clicking on the mod icon in the mod list), there you can configure all of the above mentioned constants.
Limitations
Due to requiring 50-60 blocks of open space, using it in The Nether is challenging (unless you are on the nether roof). In The End, the mod will mostly pitch up because you reach 2 blocks/tick (40 blocks/second) of horizontal velocity, since the void isn't something the mod detects as a collidable block.

Elytra Infinite server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Elytra Infinite officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Elytra Infinite – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Elytra Infinite consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
