About this Mod
A meteor fell… and emotions awakened.
Many years ago, a meteorite crashed into the world and infused emotions into ordinary blocks.
Now the earth cries, laughs, hides, melts, and even plays music.
Every emotional block has its own personality, unique reactions, hidden achievements, and secrets to discover.
If you interact with them carefully, you might uncover what the meteor truly changed…
Sad Stone
A lonely stone that cries when touched.
Right-click it, and the tears grow louder.
(Heating SadStone turns it into smooth stone.)
Angry Dirt
In a constant bad mood.
Right-clicking might not calm it down, but at least you can try.
Chamomile tea recommended.
Happy Grass
Cheerful and calm…
Until you ruin its hairstyle with a hoe.
(Hoeing HappyGrass unlocks a hidden advancement!)
Shy Sand
Extremely shy.
It hides inside itself when clicked — but now there’s more to discover:
Brushing ShySand turns it into Suspicious Sand
Suspicious Sand drops 3x “Grains of Sand”
Right-clicking a normal sand block with Grains of Sand transforms it into Suspicious Sand
Giving Grains of Sand to Detective Clay unlocks a hidden achievement
(Heating ShySand turns it into Glass.
Detective Clay
A skeptical block with a mysterious sound.
Brush right-click to possibly find:

Clay
And receives Grains of Sand to trigger a secret achievement.

Any fire spell, lighter or flame causes instant melting.

How to Install Emotive Blocks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Emotive Blocks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Emotive Blocks server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Emotive Blocks compatible with neoforge?
Emotive Blocks officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Emotive Blocks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Emotive Blocks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
