Fixes the MC-266487 bug in Minecraft. This mod allows trial spawners to spawn mobs even when the `doMobSpawning` gamerule is set to false, matching the behavior of vanilla mob spawners.

About this Mod

This mod allows trial spawners to spawn mobs even when the doMobSpawning gamerule is set to false, matching the behavior of vanilla mob spawners. This fixes an inconsistency where trial spawners would stop working when mob spawning is disabled globally, while regular spawners continue to function.

Originally created for Cobblemon mob free servers.

How to Install Enable trial spawners on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Enable trial spawners". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
