Expands the list of blocks which can be placed around an enchanting table without blocking bookshelf power
About this Mod
This basic mod gives players more freedom to decorate their enchanting setup however they like.
The following blocks no longer block the enchanting table from recieving power from nearby bookshelves:
- Amethyst buds (any size)
- Banners
- Candles
- Carpets (wool and moss)
- Chains
- Coral Plants and coral fans
- Flowers & potted plants
- Lanterns
- Pressure plates
- Signs (regular and hanging)
- Torches
- Trapdoors
Additionally, chiseled bookshelves can be used in place of regular bookshelves to add some extra variety.

How to Install Enchantment Table Decoration on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Enchantment Table Decoration". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
