About this Mod
EnchantPeek
EnchantPeek is a Fabric client mod that shows the full enchantments offered by the enchantment table before you
spend lapis and levels.
The mod works on regular client-side prediction in singleplayer and most multiplayer servers. Servers can also
install the optional companion plugin to send exact server-side previews to players using the mod.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.18.4 or newer
- Fabric API
- Java 21
Installation
Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11, then place the EnchantPeek jar in your client'smods folder.
Optional Server Plugin
The Paper companion plugin is optional. It lets a server send authoritative enchantment previews to Fabric clients
with EnchantPeek installed, and can optionally refresh a player's enchantment seed when a new item is inserted into
the enchantment table.

EnchantPeek server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is EnchantPeek compatible with fabric?
EnchantPeek officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with EnchantPeek – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if EnchantPeek consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
