Enhanced Cats

Fully Configurable!

Enhanced Cats finally reached version 1.0, wich means every main feature I had in mind is here!(of course the mod will receive more updates with new behaviours!) Configuration is possible with YACL! This is the first part of the update as the config is based of on/off toggles. Second part of the udate will introduce the ability to customize certain timers or multipliers of cat behaviours!

Jade Integration

With the Jade mod, you can quickly check your cat's stats without cluttering your screen with them after the cat's name!

New Set of Animations and Pose!

On Enhanced Cats 0.9, cats recive new animations and poses to bring more life into the game!

• New animations include: Big stretch when idle, Make biscuits with its litle paws, Litle attack animation when sctraching logs and a subtle breath animation.
  
• Cats also have a new pose: Loafing!

**Due to this new feature I am sorry to inform you but Minecraft versions 1.21.4 and before will not feature custom models(still in development) and animations, bug fixes are still being introduced so if you find some feel free to warn me!

NeoForge Support:

As of version 0.9.2 Enhanced Cats has support for NeoForge 1.21.11 for now,more versions will be supported in a very near future as the hardest part is done!(Right now there is a big issue on the mod config code in NeoForge loader wich is delaying support,also development is ongoing, though updates may be less frequent due to studies) If you find any issue feel free to notify me please!

Fatness System

If you leave your cat sitting for a long time it will get fat!If the cat gets too fat or chonky it will move slower and tend to rest more.
You can revert the effects by taking it for a walk or... if you find them cute leave it like that...

Mood System:

Cats have emotions now!! Pet them or play with them to make them happy!Avoid uncomfortable actions or events. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THEM!

Each emotion has it own effects and features:

From Super Happy to Depressed, each mood has its own effect on your cat such as Speed, Regeneration and Resitance.Also bad effects when the you forget about your cat such as being angry, attacking, refusing to play and in the most extreme depression...Don't let your cat become depressed! If it becomes depressed, you have to give a lot of comfort and pets!!

Mixed Emotions:

As time passes by, cats will start to have more complex emotions. When you check it's mood status it will return 2 status and 2 percentages. It might look like a bug but it is actually a feature that improves the overall mood system.

Baby Cats play with each other!

• They will spend most of their time playing to simulate the energetic and curious actions of baby cats in real life!

Scratching wooden logs!

• People who have cat's at home know the pain it is to see zour wooden furniture scratched...well Enhanced Cats brings the trauma to minecraft! They just...don't break blocks (phew)

Stray Cats:

Sitting and Sleeping:

• Stray cats now do more than wander around waiting to be tamed.Now they will sit down or even sleep if they are still for too long!
  

Catch the attention of baby villagers:

• Baby villagers will now follow stray cats and pet them:
  
• Or they will try to grab the cats and place them in their heads!
  
• Cats will get on villager's heads only if that villager has fed it!
  
• If they end up injuring the cat,it will runaway from them:

Hunting Fish:

• When a cat is near a river or a lake with fish,the cat will wait for them to jump,fish will jump at times,and try to catch them!
  
• Cats will also eat dropped cod or salmon items!

Stalk creepers!

• Since creepers are afraid of cats why won't they stalk them just for fun!

Finding Shelter when it's raining!

We all know that cats don't like water right.Well in Enhanced cat's, they will find shelter when it's raining!

Tamed Cats:

Sleep when sitting down for too long:

• When you leave your cat sitting in your home,after a while,it will start sleeping because of the boredom.Go play with your cat!
  

Sleeping when you disconect:

• When a player disconects Minecraft places the cat in sitting mode,Cats Overhaul changes its state to sleeping waiting for you to come back!
  

Sleeping when far away:

• If you get out of reach the cat will just stand with no ai till you load the chunck.Now if you are out of reach the cat starts sleeping while you find your way to it.

Sleeping near warm blocks!

• When the night arrives it gets cold and what is better than sleeping near hot lava?(Please don't leave them near lava, there are much safer blocks!)
  

Have you lost your cat?

• From now on when you can't find your cat simply grab cod or salmon, righ-click on air and you will see your cats rushing to you as they hear food!
  

Name and collar matching:

The cat's name reacts with the color of its collar!!

Wander around without teleportation!

• Up to a certain point we all tought:"I wish that my cat could wander around but no teleport to me when I am exploring...", Enhanced Cats gives you this feature just sneak then right-click and you are free to go!

Play with dropped items:

• Cats will play with dropped items next to them!
  

Get scared with thunder!

Yes,tamed cats aren't as brave as stray cat's so when thunder arrives they will hide and beg for cuddles!

Cuddles!

Cats will now lay on your feet and the player will pet the cat!For now it is pretty simple but it will be improved :)

• Also your cats heal you when they are sleeping!
