About this Mod

A datapack made for the Hexlands mod which adds a much larger scale version of the typical Hexlands.

The amplified world preset has:

200 block size
about 11-12 blocks of stone brick for the hexagon borders
Borders have a minimum height of 90 and can go as high as the world height limit (320).
Biomes are the same, just larger.
100 block hexagon size for the nether, with open spaces of about 30-40 blocks in the middle.

There is also a teeny size which is very small hexagons if you ever wanted that.

How to Install EpicGons on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "EpicGons". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

EpicGons server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
