About this Mod
This mod/DP adds a few smelt recipes that mojang never added but makes sense to be add
to intall this as a mod:
- install the mod
- add the mod JAR file in "mods" folder for any supported mod loaders
- launch the game
to install this as a datapack:
- install the datapack ZIP file
- put the ZIP file in the "datapack" folder in the world you want to add it to
- launch that world

How to Install Essential Smelting on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Essential Smelting". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
